• Tumblrers from every country: Wow, this man is wonderful. How can anyone hate him?

Musing.

Today me and my closest friends (who also happen to be my band members) purchased a van for touring. A milestone in itself, purchasing this vehicle shows a certain dedication and faith to our project. I spent the better part of the day telling anyone and everyone I know about it: How it was a steal for the price, how it could not have come at a better time ect. After work, we made its first round about through it’s new town of Norway, MI. The drive was brief, but excitable. We blared M83 and The Black Keys as we boasted in our excitement for the journey to come in just a few short weeks. The van was parked in my driveway facing the street, and we said goodnight. A few hours passed and as I returned home from a walk up the street, I could’t help but stare at it. It made me nervous, truth be told. I’ve been only to a few cities in my lifetime, each with a new experience. Whats going to happen in June and July? Who am I going to meet? There are hopes and anticipations I have for certain dates of this tour and maybe that’s what has me in such a trance. Opportunity has seemed to present itself to me in more ways than. Some subtle, one more obvious. A date on the calendar and one-thousand ways for it to go.
